The three electrodes for tissue bulk heating has auto-adjusting RF thermistors which monitor skin temperature at 1000 times/second. How is APexRF performed?
ApexRF is an In-office or outpatient nonsurgical, pain-free procedures. During the treatment, your provider will ask you to remove your clothing to expose the treatment area. There may be a second person serving as a chaperone for your safety and the safety of our team. The penile tissue is treated with with ApexRF according to our established protocols. Patients rest comfortably while procedure is being conducted. The entire process takes less than 20 minutes!
Once the treatment is completed, the patient gets dress and can drive home and resume normal activities.
What should I expect during treatment?
During treatment with Apex, you may expect to feel mild to moderate heating of the penile tissue. In some cases, an erection may develop during treatment. Erection during treatment is a good indication of improving blood flow to the area and does not imply impediment to the continuation and completion of treatment.
What is the Downtime for ApexRF
ApexRF is an out-patient, non-surgical, drug free treatment for ED. There is no downtime except during this 30 minutes treatment. Our patients are able to drive home and resume normal activities the same day.
How does ApexRF treat ED
RF technology at Georgia Plastic or Amachi MedSpa is usually used to tighten skin or shrink tissue. However, ApexRF uses low sub-necrotic heating of the tissue which induces temporary inflammation and “growth” of the hyperthermic area. This process induces angiogenesis (growth of blood vessels) and neo-collagenesis (formation of new collagen). Angiogenesis improves the corpus cavernosa filling with blood. Neo-collagenesis strengthens the fascia and tunica increasing pressure inside an erect penis, improving hardness and closing the dorsal vein.

What Types of ED does ApexRF Treat?
There are many causes of ED and Apex cannot treat all of them. This technology focuses on the most common cause of ED, Vascular ED. Vascular ED occurs when blood vessels in the penile tissue do not function normally. Normally blood flows into the penis via arteries and flows out via veins. The dynamics of the blood flows to penile tissues enables and maintains an erection. Most people with ED have the vascular type.
The other causes of ED are Neurogenic ED. It occurs due to nerve problems, which prevent signals from traveling from the brain to the penis to create an erection. This can be the result of trauma, pelvic surgery, radiation therapy or neurologic conditions such as stroke, spinal stenosis and multiple sclerosis (MS). Hormonal ED occurs due to a testosterone deficiency, or in some cases thyroid issues. Psychogenic ED involves psychological conditions such as stress, anxiety or depression.
Can I combine ApexRF with other ED treatment?
Yes, you may add Apex to your current ED treatment. Make sure to discuss with us your current ED treatment. When combined with other ED treatment, ApexRF can improve the quality of life for most patients with ED.
How much does ApexRF cost?
The average cost of ApexRF is $500 to $1000 per session. The final cost depends on many factors such as the experience of the provider, your location, and if its combined with other treatments. How many treatment of ApexRF do I need?
We recommend about 3-6 weekly sessions to jump start your treatment. Many patients will require a single maintenance treatment about once every 1-3 months after the initial 3-6 sessions. The frequency of the maintenance is customized to your health needs.

How do I prepare for an Apex treatment
After your consultation to make sure you are a candidate for Apex, you will be schedule for the treatment. Offen times, you may receive treatment the same day. If you are receiving treatment the same day at Georgia Plastic, we want you to arrive clean shaved at least 48 hours prior to your treatment. Please take a shower prior to arrival.
Does ApexRf grow the Penis?
It depends. Treatment with ApexRF may lead to increase in the width of the penis after several sessions. ApexRF is not a treatment to increase the size or length of the penis.
