Scarless Breast Lift in Atlanta, GA

Scarless breast lift in Atlanta is breast lift performed by our cosmetic plastic surgeon using a combination of skin tightening and liposuction.

In Atlanta, It is called scarless breast lift because there is minimal scar compared to the traditional breast reduction techniques. However, there is a very small stab wound scar just like any liposuction procedure.

Scarless breast lift is appropriate for a select group of patients. A consultation with our Plastic Surgeon is required to determine if you are a suitable candidate for scarless breast lift.

AM I A CANDIDATE FOR SCARLESS BREAST Lift?

You may be a good candidate for Scarless Breast reduction if

  • You have good skin tone
  • The nipple and areola are in a good position
  • You don’t have too much breast sagging
  • You are healthy and have realistic expectation

WHAT IF I AM NOT A CANDIDATE?

You may be a candidate for short scar breast reduction. Our plastic surgeons specialize in minimal scar breast reduction techniques.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING CONSULTATION?

During your consultation, our plastic surgeons will listen to your concerns, review your health history, and perform an examination during your consultation.  They will determine if you are a good candidate for scarless breast lift based on your expectations. They will also take preoperative medical photos during your visit. During the consultation, our expert plastic surgeons will work to understand your goals and desires and review available options and techniques to meet those goals.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Tumescent liposuction of the breast is performed by our surgeons to reduce the size of the breast and avoid the incisions that are generally placed on the breast.

During liposuction for breast reduction, a specialized micro-suction tube is inserted through a very small incision. The entire breast is numbed with tumescent fluid.

Using gentle suction, fat cells are removed through this tube. Fat removal with liposuction is permanent.  The procedure takes about 2 hours or less.  There are no stitches to remove and there is little or no downtime. Call or email us today!

WHERE IS THE SURGERY PERFORMED?

Scarless breast reduction can be done in our surgery center without general anesthesia. It can also be performed at the hospital if desired. This is an outpatient procedure. The majority of our liposuction breast reduction is performed under local anesthesia without “going to sleep”.  Some of our patients are given medication for relaxation during the procedure.

WILL THERE BE SCARS?

Well, nobody wants scars. Every surgery has some sort of scar. The incisions from the liposuction of the breast are very small and hidden underneath the breast. These micro incisions heal quite well. They measure about ¼ of an inch or 4mm. Dr. Okoro usually will use 2 of these scars per breast. There are no stitches to remove!

WILL IT WORK FOR ME?

Scarless breast lift is appropriate for a small reduction of breasts that don’t have too much sagging.  It is designed for women whose breasts have a significant amount of fat in their breasts.

There is a limit to how well the breast tissue will contract after liposuction. This procedure is reserved for small to moderate reduction of breasts. It will work for you if you were looking to go down a cup size and don’t need or care about a lift of any kind.

For women that have larger breasts and have a greater degree of breast sagging, and require a lift and shaping, short scar breast reduction would be a better option.

HOW MUCH DOES SCARLESS BREAST REDUCTION COST?

Scarless Breast reduction surgery is generally considered a cosmetic procedure and is not covered by most health insurance. The final cost of the procedure depends on many factors such as where the procedure is performed (Office vs Hospital). However, the average cost of Scarless breast reduction surgery is about $7500.

The best way to know the cost of your scarless breast reduction is to be evaluated during a consultation with our plastic surgeons. Financing is available for this procedure.

Short scar Breast reduction surgery and traditional breast reduction surgery is generally considered a reconstructive procedure and may be covered by health insurance when it is performed to relieve medical symptoms.

Many insurers define breast reduction surgery as reconstructive based on the amount of tissue that will be removed. Only fat is removed with Scarless breast reduction. Carefully review your policy to determine coverage.

YOUR SATISFACTION INVOLVES MORE THAN A FEE

When choosing a plastic surgeon for breast lift, remember that the surgeon’s experience and your comfort with them is just as important as the final cost of the surgery. Our plastic surgeons are primarily concerned with your safety, excellent outcome, and satisfaction.

Scarless Breast Lift Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a “scarless breast lift”?

A “scarless breast lift” refers to minimally invasive techniques (e.g. radiofrequency, skin-tightening, small incision lifts) designed to lift and reshape the breasts with minimal visible scarring. While no method is completely free of incisions, these techniques reduce incision size and place them in less obvious locations (e.g. around the areola) to help scars heal more discreetly.

How does a scarless breast lift differ from a traditional breast lift?
  • Traditional lifts typically require larger incisions (anchor, lollipop, or vertical patterns) which leave more noticeable scars.

  • Scarless or minimal-incision lifts focus on smaller, strategically placed incisions or use energy-based devices to tighten tissue.

  • Recovery is often faster, with less downtime, though the degree of lift is more modest in many cases.

What can I expect during recovery and when will I see results?

You can expect mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness in the first week. Most patients resume light daily activities within 3–5 days, with more intense activity held off for several weeks. Initial results may be visible within a few weeks, but final results develop over 3 to 6 months as tissues settle and scars fade.

Will I lose nipple sensation?

Temporary changes in nipple or breast sensation are possible, particularly in the early healing phase. In most cases, sensation returns gradually over time, though permanent changes are rare.

Can scarless breast lift techniques be combined with breast augmentation or fat transfer?

Yes. In selected cases, surgeons may combine a minimal-scar lift with fat transfer or breast implants to achieve both lift and volume enhancement, while maintaining more discreet scarring.

How visible will my scars be?

Scars are minimized in scarless or minimal-incision techniques—often hiding within the areola border or less conspicuous areas. Over time, with proper care (sun protection, scar creams, massage), scars typically fade and become less noticeable.

What are the risks or limitations of a scarless breast lift?
  • Less dramatic lifting than full surgical lifts, especially for severe sagging

  • Inadequate skin removal may lead to residual sagging

  • Incisions still exist (though minimized)

  • Possible asymmetry or mild contour irregularities
