How does Quantum RF Skin Tightening work?
Quantum RF delivers its ultrashort pulse internal fractionated Bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy to melt fat and tighten skin. The RF energy flows within 1-2 mm of the tip of the instrument to create zones of ablation, coagulation and non-ablative thermal injury to the surrounding fat and skin. Quantum RF energy is ultrashort and fractionated, so there is no energy build up in the tissue, making this treatment much safer than other RF energy devices.
How is Quantum RF Skin Tightening Performed?
During the procedure, our plastic surgeons or providers will numb the area of your body with excess fat. The probe of the Quantum RF is them introduced under the skin where there is pinchable fat. Once Quantum RF is activated, the fat is melted instantly to create about 25% volume reduction in the area within 3-6 months. The melted fat is removed by the body naturally.
If Quantum is combined with liposuction, the excess is removed with liposuction and the Quantum RF is used to tighten skin. Quantum RF is frequently combined with Morpheus8 RF micro-needling for better results. After the procedure, you will be provided with a postop garment. The garment is worn for about 1-2 weeks unless liposuction is combined with Quantum RF.
How much fat can be reduced by Quantum RF alone?
Quantum RF can reduce about 25% of fat in the area within 3-6 months. If you want addition fat removed with Quantum RF, we recommend another office procedure after 3-6 months. Alternatively, you can combine Quantum RF with Liposuction for those interested in more invasive procedure.

Yes, this can be combined with other procedures such as liposuction, Brazilian buttock lift, BBL revision, and others. It can be performed under local or general anesthesia when undergoing other procedures at Georgia Plastic.
What is the Downtime after Quantum RF Skin Tightening
